As you may be aware the Government launched its 'World Class Skills programme' in which it set a timetable up to 2012 to enhance employee capability and improve business performance.

 

This programme was the result of the Leitch report which said quite clearly that Training Providers, meaning Colleges of Further Education and private Training Providers such as ourselves, should 'engage with employers to provide relevant training for local businesses' i.e. some intervention that was going to make a positive difference to the profitability and capability of the business.
